THIS IS KATE
Kate is 36 years old, a civil engineer by education. After graduation, she worked in her specialty for about 5 years. She always wanted to be an interior designer, but was stopped by the belief that this requires an art education, but she didn't have it (spoiler: it's not necessary!).

But when she went on maternity leave, she decided to take the opportunity to learn her favorite profession - an interior designer.

Now Kate is a private designer. Leads 5 commercial projects in parallel and the appointment is already closed for six months ahead.

HOW TO BECOME AN INTERIOR DESIGNER
AND FIND FIRST ORDERS?
Kate has worked for over 5 years in the Department of Architecture in Dallas. But then she had to move to another city and look for a new job. She got a job as a marketer in a fitness club.

Soon she went on maternity leave and decided that now is the time to master the profession of a designer. At this point, her children were 12 years old and almost 1 year old.

Kate completed the full course of the Platform in 6.5 months. Throughout her training, she was looking for clients and carried out various projects.
HOW TO FIND THE FIRST CLIENTS?
After studying at the Mary Black school, Kate successfully works as a private designer. To date, she has 5 objects in operation: one has almost been completed, 2 projects are at the implementation stage, and 2 more are at the design project development stage. Registration for the services of a designer is closed for six months in advance. Now she is looking for employees and plans to open her design studio in the spring.
